In the latest ranking of Polish medical schools after the spring 2026 session of the Polish Medical Licensing Examination (LEK), data released by the Medical Examination Center in Lodz shows that students and graduates of PUMS achieved the highest average score in the country, scoring 163.34 points, once again outpacing all other institutions.
Although this average was somewhat lower than last year’s spring results, maintaining the top national position underscores the consistent excellence of our training and preparation for the profession. Our university led a competitive field that included top institutions such as Collegium Medicum at the Jagiellonian University and the University of Opole.
The 2026 spring LEK session overall was more demanding, with the national average falling to 157.1 points and a larger proportion of candidates scoring below the required 56% than in previous years. Despite these challenges, our students and graduates continued to exceed expectations, remaining the only group to consistently surpass key score thresholds and retain a lead in the national ranking.
