A proud moment for PUMS and Polish dentistry!
Professor Karolina Gerreth, Vice Director of CMEE at Poznan University of Medical Sciences, has become the first person from Poland to receive the prestigious iADH Fellowship, awarded by the International Association for Disability and Oral Health.
The ceremony took place on August 22, 2026, during the iADH Congress in Dublin. Professor Gerreth was among 29 recipients worldwide, including just five from Europe.
This distinction recognizes outstanding expertise, dedication, and excellence in Special Care Dentistry—providing oral healthcare for people with disabilities and others with additional care needs.
Candidates undergo a rigorous assessment by three independent experts, considering their clinical experience, research, teaching, community engagement, and contributions to iADH.
